While kayaking near Leading Tickles, Newfoundland with my friend, this friendly beluga decided to play with our camera. This video shows how he takes the camera. The next video (see "Beluga's Eye View" below) is from the whale's point of view after it stole the camera while it was on.

Over the past six months he has become a regular visitor around my house each day. It took him a short while to become comfortable around me but now he will let me scratch his back and brush him and even an occasional ride on my shoulder. Every morning he shows up looking for his favourite snacks, which include walnuts, cashews and peanuts. He spends hours just hanging around my house, relaxing, and even enjoys sitting on my bike while I work in the garage. He has become so comfortable that I introduced a hat to him and he loves to wear it while eating. Shakey has now become my pet.
